OVERVIEW
About Alliance Canada:
Alliance Canada is a 2-star charity. It has a C Results Reporting score, which is below average. Its overhead costs are outside of Ci’s reasonable range. The charity’s reserves can cover program costs for just under five months, which is within Ci’s reasonable range.
Founded in 1887, Christian and Missionary Alliance, now Alliance Canada, is a group of Christian churches with 38,688 members. It is a part of the Alliance World Fellowship, which is made up of 24,000 churches in over 88 countries. The charity’s mission is to make Matthew 24:12 a reality: "and this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come." Alliance Canada spent $21.2m on its programs in 2024.
Alliance Canada’s international work focuses on planting churches in regions where Christianity is oppressed. The charity has over 150 workers in 34 countries.
Alliance Canada runs 55 New Ventures. Each New Venture has its own goal, usually with a local scope. The programs all share a common goal of reaching people in the least-churched areas of Canada. The charity lists each New Venture on its website but only gives a vague description of what each one does.
Alliance Canada runs the Women in Leadership Collective, which hosts webinars that discuss topics such as the importance of networks for women in leadership and creating positive working environments for men and women.
The charity runs Children Ministries, Disabilities Ministries, and the Youth Ministry Network. It provides little information about these programs.

It reported no fundraising costs and spent $559k on administration, which is 3% of revenue, excluding investment income. For every dollar donated to the charity, 97 cents are available to go to the cause. This is outside of Ci’s reasonable range as it may indicate the charity is not spending enough on overhead or that it is not properly reporting its overhead costs.
