Southland Church is an evangelical Christian church in Steinbach, Manitoba. The church encourages each of its members to feel Christ’s love and freedom through individual relationships with Jesus.
The charity offers groups for all ages, ranging from kids, youth, young adults, and seniors. These small groups support each other and grow in faith together. The charity streams its sermons online, with accessible options for deaf viewers, and organizes seminars and retreats.
Southland Church has ministered Bird River Bible Camp since 2006. The camp is offered to children, young adults, families, and seniors. Bible River Camp offers its Prime Time weekend retreat for adults attending without children. The camp also runs Leaders Through Action (LTA), a program for high school students to lead sessions for younger campers. In F2024, the charity reported that it had 974 campers, with 284 volunteer positions filled and 43 full-time summer staff.
Southland Church gave assets to Church Renewal International, which was granted charitable status as a separate legal entity in F2022. It provides online mentoring, resources and tools to help pastors lead churches in Canada and internationally.
