Comments & Contact

Comments added by the Charity:

A Dollar A Day comprises a unique community of donors and supporters who work together to support small and mid-sized mental health and addictions programs in every province and territory. In 2024, we solidified our granting framework and adopted a sustainable policy of multi-year funding for the bulk of our grantees. Our partners tend to be smaller community organizations, and they report that impact reporting can present a challenge for their small teams. To that end, A Dollar A Day and its partners undertook an impact assessment project with the Purposeful Group in 2025. Our organization and those we serve will emerge with an accessible yet powerful framework for impact reporting, which will be implemented with all our grantees. We look forward to sharing the results of this work in our 2025 Impact Report and on our redesigned website, which will launch in the coming months.

We thank our donors and partner organizations for all they do to further our mission to narrow the gap between the need for and the availability of mental health and addictions services across Canada. Together we are making a powerful difference in the lives of those in need today.
